Conformity assessment services
Lloyd’s Register provides a host of independent technical verification and assurance services to ensure through life performance of critical assets integral to a range of sectors.

We are the world’s premier ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) authorised Inspection Agency outside the USA and one of the most reputable notified bodies for PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).

Our subsidiary, Lloyd’s Register Insurance Inc., is accredited by ASME to provide ASME Code related advisory and inspection services. We are also accredited by the National Board of Pressure Vessels Inspectors to provide inspection services as per requirements of the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).

Engineering support services
We provide a range of services for lifting appliances (container cranes, rubber tyre gantry cranes), industrial equipment, components (valves, forgings, castings, piping, tubes, plates) & containers (new build and in-service).
